Gustafson Porter + Bowman celebrates 25 years with
an exhibition as part of the Open House Festival 2022
On 14th September we held a private view for friends, collaborators and clients to launch an exhibition of our work. Curated on the occasion of our 25th anniversary, the exhibition was conceived to inspire a new generation to join the profession of landscape architecture and was opened to the public as part of the Open House Festival on 17th and 18th September.
Since 1997, we have grown into a talented, diverse and global team of landscape architects, architects and urban designers, led by five partners. The exhibition celebrated our wide ranging and distinguished work that has consistently challenged the perceived role of landscape architects in contemporary design.
The exhibition – and our evening event – allowed us to reflect on our work to date and also look forward. We will continue to evolve as we take on the big issues including climate change, social equity within diverse populations, sustainable cities and urbanisation. We continue to learn and research our natural and cultural environment to improve the physical and mental health for all people.
